DONKEY TRIPS BY CARRIAGE

ECOLOGICAL TOURISM IN NORTHERN NEGEV

THE PHILIP FARM PROVIDES DONKEY TOURS IN THE NEGEV.
THE DONKEYS HAVE BEEN TRAINED AND ALL CARRIAGES ARE CONTROLLED BY THE VISITOR.

Each tour can last ½ / 1 hour or 2 hours and includes a light Bedouin milk meal.
The trip finishes off at the farm and groups will receive a lecture on the history of the area from the Canaawite period to Israel's war of independence.
Tours are accompanied by highly qualified guides.
All donkey trips need to be coordinated in advance.

At the entrance to the farm (Ample parking space for buses and cars) fresh farm produce is sold such as Pitot with labane, olive oil produced on the farm, jams, and natural olives. Also 
Ideal stop for coffee break on your trip down south.
Business hours including Shabbat and festivals 08:00 until darkness descends. 
Bathrooms are at the disposal of the visitors.

How to reach the Philip Farm?

 

The farm is situated on the main road Tel-aviv - Beer Sheva (Road 40). It is 14 km south of Plugot junction and north of Kamah junction. It is about 1 hour drive from Tel-Aviv and ½ hour drive from Beer-Sheva.

From Tel-Aviv (Road 40)

 

Travel south from Plugot Junction to Bet-Kamah. After you have passed Moshav Achuzam (on the left hand side) travel further 4 Km south until you reach a row of flags. Turn right going down hill.

From Road 6

 

Travel south until Junction Kiriat Gat. Turn right to Road 35 towards Plugot Junction (westwards). At the third lights (Plugot) turn left to Road 40 (Beer-Sheva) to Bet Kamah. From here same instruction as above (Road 40).
